F Trains Won't Run Overnight in Parts of Queens for 2 Weeks

F trains will not stop at subway stations between 179th Street and Briarwood in Queens on weeknights for the next two weeks.

FASTRACK, the subway maintenance, cleaning and repair program, will shut down F service from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weeknights.

The first shutdown runs from Sept. 14 to 18 and the second runs from Sept. 21 to 25 nightly.

F trains between Coney Island and Briarwood will be rerouted on the E line to and from Jamaica Center.

Free shuttle buses will be provided as a travel alternative between 179th Street and Union Turnpike, stopping at Briarwood, Sutphin Boulevard, Parsons Boulevard and 169th Street.

Transfer will be available between F trains and free shuttle buses at Union Turnpike or Briarwood.
