Diagonal Crosswalks for Safer Streets?

A new crosswalk is catching on: cars go and then all the lights turn red and pedestrians can cross in any direction, even diagonally. The concept is underway at three Manhattan intersections and could be coming to more high-risk areas. Erica Byfield reports.
