David Wright Visits PS 38 on Sandy-Devastated Staten Island

Mets third baseman David Wright was at Staten Island’s PS 38 Thursday, bringing some cheer to the community hit by Sandy. The excited fourth- and fifth-graders told NBC 4 New York they’d never forget meeting Wright and that they saw “a heart of gold” in him. When told about the comments, Wright got misty-eyed and admitted to Bruce Beck, “You’re getting me all teary-eyed on camera.”
