Dangerous Propane Leak Forces Evacuation

For thousands of Mastic Beach and Shirley Long Island residents it was no “Happy New Year.”Around 1:30 AM, fire and police officials began going door to door evacuating as many as 900 homes and businesses when a propane tank leak was discovered in a Kohl’s shopping center on Montauk Highway.
