Congressmen Seek to Reverse Cap on Tax Deductions in NY

Ever since Trump’s tax reforms came to be last year, people in the tri-state have been worried about the cap on local and state deductions, now maxed out at $10,000. On Monday, two Long Island congressmen announced legislation intended to help Long Island residents lower their tax bills by restoring the SALT deduction retroactively. Greg Cergol reports.
