Car Plunges into Raritan River

An 80-year-old driver died Monday when he accidentally plunged his car into the Raritan River in Bridgewater, N.J. The driver was making a U-turn when the car dropped and became submerged under five feet of water, police said. Divers pulled the driver from the car but were unable to resuscitate him.
