Popular Underground Music Venue Shea Stadium Shut Down

A small DIY studio space in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, became the concert venue known as Shea Stadium, and its popularity has soared over the last seven years. But authorities shut it down for a long list of code violations. And while the venue has raised the estimated amount to get Shea Stadium back, reopening it is not as easy as giving the city money.
