Bronx Woman Arrested in Husband's Stabbing Death

Chrystal Muse-Mojica was arrested on charges including murder and manslaughter

Police are investigating an attempted murder-suicide that took the life of a Brooklyn boy, the third time in a week children have been killed in such situations. This was just one in a rash of violent deaths in New York City Saturday.

A Bronx woman has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of her husband.

Police were called to an apartment in the South Bronx at 4:40 a.m. Saturday. The initial reports were of a shooting, but when officers arrived they found 25-year-old Christopher Muse with one stab wound to his torso. The victim was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Muse's wife, Chrystal Muse-Mojica, also 25, was arrested on charges including murder and manslaughter.

Neighbor's said they suspected she was the victim of domestic abuse by her husbland.

"She didn't even stab him more than one time," said neighbor Tracy Solomon. "She stabbed him one time to get him off of her because he was beating her."

No information on an attorney was immediately available.
