Barron Blasts Quinn

Some harsh words from fiery city council member Charles Barron at Christine Quinn today. This after Baron was removed from his committee chairmanship by Quinn. Earlier this month, baron tried to challenge Quinn for her speaker title. But in the end the council uniformly backed Quinn. Baron’s post is now occupied by newcomer Ydanis Rodriguez. Speaker Quinn issued a statement saying Barron lost his post because she believes it is important to have committee chairs that are unifying forces.
