Abducted NY Baby, Toddler Found Safe; Amber Alert Canceled

A New York state Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-month-old boy and a 2-year-old girl abducted on Long Island early Monday.

Two young girls, aged 2 months and 2 years, allegedly abducted by their mother following an argument with her husband at their Long Island home early Monday have been found safe, and authorities have canceled the Amber Alert. 

Promise Lee, 2 months, and Love Lee, 2 years, were taken from their home near 17th Street in Jericho shortly after midnight; the Amber Alert was issued before 7 a.m. Authorities say the kids were taken under circumstances that lead police to believe they were in imminent danger, though they did not immediately elaborate on those circumstances.

They also didn't say where the children were found.

The alleged abductor, Sun Shin, is a woman around 31 years old with straight, brown hair and brown eyes. It wasn't immediately clear what charges she may face.
