PTSD on Rise Among 9/11 First Responders

Ten years later, every labored breath reminds Marvin Bethea of the tragedy he lived through on 9/11. As a paramedic for St. John’s Hospital, he responded to the World Trade Center that September morning, desperately trying to guide others to safety. He barely survived the collapse of both towers.
