90-Year-Old Veteran Honored At Long Island Parade

Roy Beach turned 90 Monday, and it seems fitting that the World War II veteran shares a birthday with the U.S. Beach has spent most of his life serving the nation, and for the last 63 years he’s been a volunteer firefighter in his Long Island community. That community made him the grand marshal of this year’s July 4th parade. Greg Cergol reports.
