30 Americans Killed in Afghanistan

Defense officials say the target was a Chinook helicopter – carrying 30 Americans 22 of them navy seals. the crash killed everyone on board including the helicopter crew, three air force controllers, seven afghan troops, a dog and his handler, as well a civilian interpreter.
