Lesbian Bars in U.S. Are Disappearing — One Project Hopes to Share Their History

At one point, there were around 200 lesbian bars across the country, but in the last decade that number keeps shrinking. In New York, the number can be counted on one hand, leaving what some in the lesbian community are calling a cultural crisis. NBC New York’s Gilma Avalos reports.
