Runner Goes From Cancer & COVID-19 to the Virtual NYC Half Marathon

2020 hit Kaliswa Brewster a little bit harder than some. The on-the-go actor recovered from skin cancer – only to contract COVID-19 a short time later, leaving her basically bedridden for months. But she laced up her running shoes to recover — and this weekend she’ll be running the Virtual NYC Half Marathon.
