‘Flaco's Laws' to protect birds in NYC introduced by lawmakers: What to know

There’s a new effort to protect all the species of birds that live and migrate through New York City with several pieces of legislation. They’re known as “Flaco’s laws,” named after the famous owl who captured the city’s heart when he escaped the Central Park Zoo after someone vandalized his enclosure. NBC New York’s Erica Byfield reports.
