Charges were dropped against a Long Island nurse who appeared to slam a baby down in a bassinet inside a hospital’s NICU. It comes nearly a year after Amanda Burke was charged and fired from her job, but the district attorney’s office said Monday she “did not act with gross negligence.” NBC New York’s Pei-Sze Cheng reports.
