Budget Cuts Leave Some NYC Parks in Rough Shape

After having $84 million slashed from their budget amid a citywide fiscal crisis, the Parks Department is struggling to keep up with maintaining city parks, leaving some with overfilled trash, overgrown grasses and plants, and deteriorating conditions making some parks seem unsafe.
