Yellow Ostrich Live at Glasslands

Nonstop Sound spoke with Alex Schaaf of Yellow Ostrich before their emotionally-driven performance at Glasslands Gallery in Williamsburg. Schaaf has recently moved to NYC and signed with Barsuk Records to release “The Mistress,” a full-length album full of layered, mesmerizing vocal melodies. A proud Wisconsinite, Schaaf recognizes that all cities “drool” in comparison to NYC, aside from all those located in his home-state of course.
