Pamela Love to Create Collection for Topshop

Jewelry designer Pamela Love's edgy downtown creations have catapulted her to the top of every editor's wish list in the past year. Back when we first interviewed her in the summer of 2009, she had just done a runway collaboration with Zac Posen, and was enjoying the sudden burst of interest in her claw necklaces that had come about due to an appearance around the neck of one of the main characters on "True Blood."

Nearly two years later, she's been nominated for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, won an Ecco Domani award, and has ended up on a slew of magazine pages and must-have editors lists. Now, the designer has announced she's embarking on her first major collaborative effort with Topshop -- an exclusive five-part jewelry collection set to launch in April.

In an article published in Vogue this month, Love says the collection represents "the spirit of America." "I'm their first designer from the States," she told Vogue, "so I felt it was important to represent that."
