Marc Jacobs' Rose and Tangerine-Colored Spring Campaign

Multi-tasking maestro Marc Jacobs shot his entire Spring/Summer 2011 campaign with Juergen Teller while his runway show was simultaneously going on in the background. Good economic sense? Yes. Crazy backstage mayhem? We can only imagine.

Jacobs was definitely thinking pink for the ads, and the newly-released previews look like they were taken with a candy-colored lens. The cotton-candy hair and shiny pink ensembles only heighten what we're calling the "lollipop look," which is a little bit 1975, a little bit Bo Peep and a whole lot girly.

Seasonal campaigns are a designer's best means of establishing his/her aesthetic "mood," and judging by Jacobs' latest effort, the designer was loving la vie en rose last September.
