Thee Oh Sees: San Francisco is NYC's Stoned, Younger Brother

Nonstop Sound spoke with Brigid Dawson and Petey Dammit! of San Francisco-based garage rock band Thee Oh Sees before their sold-out, sweaty and chaotic show at 285 Kent Ave. They spoke on how it’s important to put on an incredible live show, because even if the audience doesn’t like your music, they’ll have a good time. While Dawson romanticized New York, Dammit! spoke on how he likes to think of the city as fast-paced and serious while San Francisco is its permanently stoned younger brother.
