Teen Girls Skip Turkey Day to See Nick Jonas

Four Long Island teenagers missed Thanksgiving to be first in line for a Jonas Brothers book signing

How long would you wait for the chance to bawl in the face of your idol?

Four Long Island 16-year olds waited 59 hours and missed Thanksgiving dinner to be first in line for the Jonas Brothers book signing on Friday.

"We've been here since 4 a.m. on Wednesday," Britney Rosentold the Daily News on Friday.

Britney and her four friends were first in line for the Disney trio's book signing at a midtown book store.

Their book, "Burning Up: On Tour With The Jonas Brothers," which sounds a bit like a Disney Cheech & Chong movie, released on Nov. 18 and goes for a little over $13 on Amazon.

But for the kids, it presented an opportunity to meet the brothers Jonas: Kevin, Joe and Nick.

One Chicago mom, Liz Kusper, told the News, "I spent $1,000 on the trip for my daughter, Monica. We got here Friday at 1 p.m. and we ran here."

There was even a girl who was reportedly throwing up all night long, and another actually got trampled, proving once again, that you don't want to get in between teenage girls and what they want.
