Renaissance on Riverside

Known as the Schinasi Mansion, this home was built during the American Renaissance and designed by architect William Burnet Tuthill (of Carnegie Hall fame). The only privately-owned freestanding mansion in Manhattan, the home is all about fine details like intricate woodwork and murals on the walls. A (now sealed) tunnel, that once led to the Hudson, gives a nod to the home’s rich history. Find more amazing properties at LXTV.
