Hungry March Band Invades Whitney Museum

Nonstop Sound spoke with trombonist Sebastian Isler of the bombastic Hungry March Band after the group’s invasion of the Whitney Museum as part of performance-artist Joanna Malinowska’s public program there. Malinowska invited the group to take part in her collision of ideas, cultures and sounds in an evening that was complete with a toy piano concerto, Skype conversation and deafening howling.
