Ford & Lopatin Just Want to Party

We spoke with electronic duo Ford & Lopatin (formerly known as Games) before their record release party at the gritty, Todd P. venue known as 285 Kent in Williamsburg. The duo’s music is a dark, underground abstraction of the top-40 pop music we hear every day. On record, it’s a more ambient sound that you could listen to throughout the day, but live, the music inspires everyone to dance. The sticky, humid and sweaty habitat of 285 Kent was a perfect jungle-like setting for Ford & Lopatin’s latest release to thrive.
