The Department of Buildings is changing the way it tests crane operators "shortly before expected corruption indictments." From now on, the written and practical tests for "lower-level mobile crane operator’s licenses" will be given by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators, instead of the DOB. Tests for higher-level licenses for tower cranes and larger mobile cranes, "may eventually" be given by an outside group. Remember, no cheating kids, and in the meantime, always look up.
