Deliberations Begin in Fort Dix Trial

Closing arguments wrapped up Tuesday

Jury deliberations are under way in the trial of five men accused of plotting to attack soldiers on New Jersey's Fort Dix.

Closing arguments wrapped up Tuesday evening, but the jury opted to wait until Wednesday to start reviewing the evidence. In a rare move, the judge decided to sequester the jury during deliberations.

The suspects face life in prison if they're convicted of the most serious charges, which include conspiracy to kill military personnel and attempted murder. Four of men also face weapons charges.

Defense lawyers told jurors their clients -- all foreign-born Muslims who lived for years in Cherry Hill -- were not seriously planning anything, although they had some anti-government sentiments.
