Bhi Bhiman Travels Through His Songs

Nonstop Sound spoke with Bhi Bhiman, a first-generation Sri Lankan-American who dresses like one of Steinbeck’s Okies, after his soulful performance at Public Assembly. Bhiman takes his audiences on little voyages via forgotten characters in his lyrics in hopes of creating memorable folk music for a new generation.
