1st Look: Sustainable Foods in NYC

Part of the ever-growing locavore movement, Williamsburg‘s Brooklyn Kitchen has become a nexus for New Yorkers interested in local fare thanks to its butcher shop, locally grown produce and lineup of culinary classes. Another Manhattan spot for fresh-from-NYC fare is Union Square Market, where you can taste honey from Gotham’s rooftop hives courtesy of the New York City Beekeepers Association. Catch LXTV’s 1st Look on Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 1am on WNBC 4.
