Mason Jar Music: Bootstrapped Together

We met up with Dan Knobler and Jon Seale in their Kensington, Brooklyn home to talk about their multimedia collective, Mason Jar Music, which have created a stream of compelling content, with a DIY ethos and high-caliber production skills. They’ve put on a full production with Feist in a Harlem crypt and raised several thousand dollars for Hurricane Sandy victims through a compilation, but their latest project is a music documentary called The Sea In Between which features songwriter Josh Garrels performing in the landscapes of British Columbia.
