Temperatures are expected to climb into the 70s on Saturday after a soggy night in the tri-state — with a larger, more powerful storm system slated to move in on Sunday night, Storm Team 4 says.

Rain fell steadily overnight Friday into Saturday morning, but by Saturday afternoon, the tri-state will dry off and the sun will come out.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 70s across most of the area, according to Storm Team 4's Dave Price.

Clouds will be back Sunday morning, with light showers possible through the afternoon and evening.

A storm system that's expected to move in overnight Sunday into Monday morning will bring rain and thunderstorms that could slow down the morning commute, Storm Team 4 says.

Showers and windy conditions are expected to keep up for most of Monday. Sunday could see a high of 64 degrees.
