Rain, Thunderstorms Clear for a Dry and Sunny Wednesday

Have the umbrellas ready — Storm Team 4 is tracking showers and thunderstorms making their way through the tri-state.

Rain moved into the area Tuesday evening, with scattered thunderstorms moving from Westchester County and central New Jersey through New York that were expected to head into Connecticut. Skies will clear up before the Wednesday morning commute.

Expect another dry day on Wednesday, and while it won’t be quite as temperate as Tuesday, temperatures will climb throughout the day and reach the mid to upper 60s with plenty of sun.

Thursday will be dry again, but cooler than Wednesday, Storm Team 4 said. 

There is another chance for rain on Friday before the sunshine returns Saturday ahead of a few showers on Mother’s Day.
