A cold front that brought unsettled weather Tuesday evening around parts of the tri-state, with some showers and isolated thunderstorms has set the stage for calm conditions on Wednesday, Storm Team 4 says.

The rain pushed away through the early evening and give way to more peaceful conditions overnight, according to Storm Team 4.

Skies will brighten up for the next few days. Storm Team 4 says Wednesday is expected to be sunnier, though it will be a few degrees cooler than Tuesday.

Temps should bounce back into the 60s again on Friday, which brings another chance for showers in the evening hours.

At this point, the weekend looks to be a mixed bag. Storm Team 4 says warm temps are forecast for Saturday with highs nearing 70 degrees, but cool and gray conditions return for Sunday.
