With their first freestanding stores opening in the next few months, Rock & Republic isn't going to let the recession kill their buzz. Already next month, a R&R shop on Robertson Boulevard in LA will open its arms to the designer denim-loving Angelenos, with their second boutique at the Wynn in Las Vegas on its heels.
Since Rock & Republic began their world denim takeover in Los Angeles and then shifted to show at New York Fashion Week more recently, they are of course taking care of the R&R-hungry west coast before debuting the New York flagship in 2009.
The two-story space at 102 Greene Street, within a stone's throw of G-Star, Acne Jeans, Emporio Armani, Jean Shop and the new 7 For All Mankind, is slated for Spring. It will carry the world of Rock & Republic, including the cosmetics and ready-to-wear, and hopefully will debut along with their rumored cashmere collaboration and swimwear. We hope they plan on accepting Euros.
