Sales, Deals, and One Cool Pop-Up

New markdowns at Oak, Honey in the Rough, Bird, and more

It's finally getting hot enough to wear all those wispy, flirty dresses you've been eyeing. And guess what? Now they're on sale.

Honey in the Rough
Starting today, owner Ashley Hanoush is kicking off the store's big summer sale, which will run into August. Considering the spectacular variety of dresses (from Tsumori Chisato to Alexander Herchcovitch to Antipodium) we saw the last time we stopped by, you better go sooner rather than later to scoop up the best pieces. (161 Rivington Street, between Suffolk and Clinton, honeyintherough.com)

Pixie Market
The fresh, already-well-priced pieces at this hip boutique are even more affordable during the shop's summer sale, which starts (you guessed it) today. If you can't make it to the shop, you can also shop online--we're eyeing a Richard Ruiz onesie or a silk printed top by Maggie. (100 Stanton Street, between Orchard and Ludlow, pixiemarket.com)

Oak
The markdowns in the sale section of this ultra-cool, hipster warehouse have already hit 40 percent, but get this: Starting Friday, that jumps up to 50 percent. That's right--LD Tuttle shoes, RCVA dresses (pictured), slashed Acne jeans, and silk Rachel Comey tops, all half price. (28 Bond Street, near Bowery, oaknyc.com)

Bird
Both Cobble Hill and Park Slope locations of this chic, feminine boutique will be offering huge discounts (up to 75 percent) on summer merch from designers like A.P.C., Alexander Wang, and Ligne 6 by Martin Margiela. (Cobble Hill: 220 Smith Street, corner of Butler St. Park Slope: 316 Fifth Avenue, between 2nd and 3rd, shopbird.com)

Obesity & Speed Pop-up at Earnest Sewn
As if the range of brilliant denim at Meatpacking District staple Earnest Sewn wasn't alluring enough, the Meatpacking shop has a way of hosting some of our favorite up-and-coming lines for their pop-up series. This round brings the sexy, slouchy aesthetic of oddly-named-but-nonetheless-brilliant Obesity & Speed for a 10-week installation called "All We Ever Wanted." (821 Washington Street, between Gansevoort and Little West 12th, earnestsewn.com)
