Own It: Matthew Williamson for H&M Part Deux

…plus Fort Greene's new picnic outfitters and the Yigal Azrouël Sample Sale

HE'S BACK: Just in time for your cat scratches from the first Matthew Williamson-for-H&M mob, the Man Who Loves Purple is back with his second go-around for the Swedish shop, and things will probably be even less civilized than the last time. We'll be hitting the Fifth Avenue flagship; more information from H&M here.

NEWBIE: Stick your head out the closest window. Smell that? That's summer, baby! Time for bike rides, sundresses, and leisurely picnics on the green. You'll need to take care of the first two yourself, but for the picnic part, we recommend hitting Picnic Country Store in Fort Greene to fill your basket with organic treats and handmade mini-meals, fresh sandwiches, fizzy sodas that are actually good for you -- even the odd picnic toy or two (when's the last time you bought a jump rope with wooden handles?). Picnic, 185 DeKalb Avenue, at Carlton Avenue, Fort Greene (718-855-8965).

SAMPLER: Get ready for the Wednesday kickoff of the Yigal Azrouël sample sale. Expect separates slashed to about $75-150 from MePa prices, but go straight for the dresses ($125 to about $300 for gowns), because if there's one thing this Israeli designer is known for, it's his god-like draping techniques. 5/13-15, 9AM-7PM (Friday ends at 3). 225 W. 39th Street at Seventh Ave.; 7th flr. (212) 302-1194.
