So technically, this all-out original homage to Project Runway is in the windows of a restaurant, Cowgirl on Hudson Street. But "Project Gunnway" is too good to be ignored, especially with their homemade "Shoo-fly" Accessory Wall and colorful fabric choices.
Even the mannequins representing Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum are uncanny; as the new Sheriff in town, Tim sports a getup from Orville Redenbacher's fall line while Heidi opts for something a little more Betsey Johnson. Tim's stolid expression, while keeping a hand on his Gunn, and Heidi's single boot really say haute couture. Let's hope this week's Project Runway challenge is outfits for a hoedown.
