More than 90 vintage clothing and textile dealers—including local favorites like Amarcord Vintage and the ultra-covetable What Goes Around Comes Around--will descend on the Metropolitan Pavilion this coming Friday and Saturday for the Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show, which is a bit like having an Auntie Mame-type relative fling open her closet for you to paw through and frolic in.

Tickets to the show cost $20 (but you can get $5 off by joining the mailing list on the site), which is pennies when you think of the smorgasbord of vintage that'll be at your fingertips once you pass through those doors. Plus, check out an exhibit on that timeless fashion icon, the Little Black Dress. Time Out New York has a preview gallery of selections from the event – a polka-dotted dress begging to be worn while zipping through Roman streets on a Vespa, a classic Emilio Pucci ensemble -- which'll only make you more impatient for it to be Friday, already. (Oh, by the way: you're taking Friday afternoon off.)
