The Bowery, wiped almost clean of whatever grit it once had, will soon be home to another boutique. DNR reports that menswear designer William “Billy” Reid has found a space on the strip for his first NYC store, to open in October. "The two-floor, 1,800-square-foot space, located on Bond Street near Bowery, will offer a wide selection of men’s apparel and accessories, including woven shirts, selvedge denim, handmade shoes and luggage, along with a capsule collection of women’s apparel—available in its entirety only in the New York shop and online." Update: So much for October: Style File reports that the store is opening tomorrow.
