We're becoming wary of the Roberto Cavalli sales that seem to take place every three days at different hotels in midtown, and a third-hand source seems justify our suspicions. A commenter wrote on today's Cavalli Dealfeed listing: "My friend went to this and said it was a total wash. This sale is not run by the designers, but some 'agent' named 'Shirley' and was just a few racks. She said, ... it was more like 30-40% off.
