ZOMBIERIFFIC: We like that BAMcinématek’s mini-retrospective of the man who brought us “Night of the Living Dead” has an exclamation mark on the end of it, like “Oklahoma!” or “Mars Attacks!” Romero! runs all weekend long with a look back at the cult horror director’s canon, from “Night” to “Creepshow,” in celebration of his new movie “Survival of the Dead,” which screens Saturday night at 8PM. Schedule varies, see BAMcinématek for information.

HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY OF ALL: To celebrate three years of expertise on all things Kings County, Brooklyn Based is revving up for an all-day combination “block party, scavenger hunt, flash sale and pub  crawl.” On deck at the Total Franklin Street Immersion, running along this major Greenpoint artery: Discounts at excellent stores (like Alter, Kill Devil Hill and Hayden-Harnett), free Brooklyn Brewery sips and Robicelli cupcakes, a BBQ at t.b.d. and plenty more. You just need to score your TFSI discount card once you land; details on that here. Saturday, 12-8PM.

DO IT FOR YOUR COUNTRY: For those of us who missed last year’s Grease 2” singalong at 92YTribeca, this epic event returns by popular request. Brush up on the lyrics to “Reproduction” and prepare to shimmy down the ladder Michelle Pfeiffer-style: This 1982 clunker is one of the best worst musicals ever, and it starts Saturday at 11PM.

Also: The 2010 season of free kayaking courtesy of the Long Island City Boathouse kicks off this weekend, and the Taste of Tribeca food fest invades the neighborhood (head to Duane Street) with deliciousness on Saturday.
