The city's effort to retrain workers who'd be displaced by its big Willets Point redevelopment plan got off to an interesting start yesterday. There was "a swarm of angry protestors" who "sparked a verbal clash inside a mobile classroom" with signs reading "Relocation, not Retraining" and "Retraining is an insult." Also, "a horde of furious workers surrounded the classroom on wheels shortly after it rolled into the gritty industrial strip near Citi Field." [NYDN]
