We're a bit obsessed with PropertyShark's latest ambitious map experiment, despite it dragging us into the depths of commercial real estate boredom. But this is fun, we swear! The PropShark team is out on the streets gathering intel on every empty retail storefront—contacting the brokers for size, price, use, etc.—and then plopping it all on a big map. It's a fairly new feature, and we're told each listing will get a monthly follow-up to see if it's still on the market. Finally, an easy way to research the future home of Curbed & Sons Apothecary and Blogorium without getting out of our chairs.
