As previously reported, the landmarked Pepsi Cola sign on the Long Island City waterfront is getting dismantled and moved a few hundred feet, and folks, LIC hasn't seen a photo op like this since the brilliant and short career of the Floating Tree. Sweet, sweet Floating Tree, how we miss you so.
