Are muggings of gentrifiers in the Hamilton Heights section of Harlem on the rise? According to NYC the Blog, after someone got jacked for his iPhone on West 145th Street last night, a police officer on the scene said "this tends to happen a lot, and often they will pick on people who look like they don't live in the neighborhood." The officer also recounted the tale of someone who was recently mugged three times in one month. He advised the person to "move out of the neighborhood."
