Time was nobody even knew WTF Orient Avenue was. Now, thanks to a certain house that was featured in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Michel Gondry moving in, it's acquired a certain prominence. Now, about that house that was featured in the movie and became notorious as a neighborhood blight full of squatters and well, a lot of nasty shit. Looks like the old residents want back into their house at 59 Orient Avenue. A neighbor says: "We heard people trying to get in last night around 12 and called the cops. The fence has been like that for two days now and when I called 311 to report it to the DOB..." The new owners are going to tear down the Victorian landmark and turn it into a 20-unit condo.
