Well, after some...uh...gang related machete attacks in South Williamsburg it shouldn't come as a surprise that a City Council member from the neighborhood now wants to ban the sale of machetes. To be specific, there were four machete attacks reported this summer. What this does to prevent stabbings, shootings and having someone swing at your head for the center field fence with a Louisville Slugger is unclear as is the overall impact on demand for South Burg condos.
