Curbed PriceSpotter: The Bottom of the Manhattan Barrel

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: Studio co-op on East 5th Street btwn Avenues A/B
Square Feet: Bigger than a bread box
Maintenance: $522
The Skinny: There's been a lot of bad financial news over the past week, but you can still find plenty of pricey apartments in Manhattan, obvi. But we're feeling frugal, so we went as low as we could go, searching for a cheap Manhattan studio listed in the past week or so (motivated seller, perhaps?). Sure enough, we found what can only be described by scholars as "your standard crappy East Village studio." There's a curveball, however. The listing mentions "sweet" garden views, and there's a picture of a yard, but it's unclear if the buyer gets access. So, what's the low end of the market looking like nowadays?
