We hear there are just a few spots left on the daytrip to the awesome Vermont Cheesemakers Festival in Middlebury, organized by the good people at Murray’s cheese. Get on it, people. Here’s why:
First, you’ll hop a red eye coach with 50 or so other curdheads and wake up to the pastoral hills of Vermont, and breakfast on smoked meats and praline maple toast with ‘mongers from Dancing Cow and Blue Ledge Farms. Then you’ll taste your way through 100+ cheeses all day long, as 50 prominent makers show off their wares and “Cheese Chronicles” author Liz Thorpe introduces you to her favorites. Have we mentioned wineries and breweries will be sharing their wares, too? (It’s not like you’re driving.) Then be delivered back to Manhattan, with a belly full of milky goodness.
